Place Vendome was started in Old Town Pasadena in 2004 by Max Emsallem and Michael Merritt.

Raised in Paris and in the fashion industry in the United States for twelve years, Max has an approach to style not often found in the typical jewelry store. This coupled with Mike’s eighteen-year experience in fine jewelry created the casual chic atmosphere of their store.

Mike and Max wanted a unique gallery setting with a contemporary European feel. Place Vendôme brings exclusive French and Italian luxury designers to the increasingly design-conscious Pasadena.
